Duck Hood Reflective Dog Raincoat
Size and fit guide
Measure Neck, Chest, and Back Length
Choose the current XS-4XL size that fits all three measurements. Weight is a secondary reference, not a substitute for measuring your dog.
How to measure
- Measure around the neck where the coat will sit.
- Measure chest girth around the widest part behind the front legs.
- Measure back length from the neck base to the tail base while your dog stands naturally.
| Size | Neck | Chest | Back length | Suggested weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 7.9 in / 20 cm | 12.2 in / 31 cm | 7.9 in / 20 cm | 1.1-2.2 lb / 0.5-1 kg |

| M | 10.6 in / 27 cm | 17.3 in / 44 cm | 12.6 in / 32 cm | 5.5-7.7 lb / 2.5-3.5 kg |
| L | 12.6 in / 32 cm | 18.9 in / 48 cm | 14.2 in / 36 cm | 8.8-9.9 lb / 4-4.5 kg |
| XL | 13.8 in / 35 cm | 20.5 in / 52 cm | 16.5 in / 42 cm | 11.0-13.2 lb / 5-6 kg |
| 2XL | 16.5 in / 42 cm | 24.4 in / 62 cm | 18.9 in / 48 cm | 15.4-22.0 lb / 7-10 kg |
| 3XL | 18.9 in / 48 cm | 31.5 in / 80 cm | 22.8 in / 58 cm | 33.1-38.6 lb / 15-17.5 kg |
| 4XL | 20.9 in / 53 cm | 36.2 in / 92 cm | 25.6 in / 65 cm | 44.1-55.1 lb / 20-25 kg |
Fit note: If your dog's measurements span two rows, prioritize comfortable chest movement and enough back coverage without loose shifting.

Playful Rain Gear for Walks That Cannot Wait
This dog raincoat helps make rainy bathroom breaks, damp neighborhood walks, and low-light outings easier to manage. The cheerful pattern, rain-shedding outer fabric, reflective accents, hood, and leash portal give dogs a practical layer without turning a quick walk into a struggle.
Best Fit: dogs within the XS-4XL size chart who need a lightweight rain layer for normal walks
Use It For: rainy potty breaks, apartment walks, damp sidewalks, cloudy evenings, and playful pet photos
Walk Features: transparent visor hood, reflective accents, adjustable closure, and leash portal for collar or harness access
Care: hand wash cold, hang dry, and avoid bleach or ironing
What Makes Rainy Walks Easier
Rain-Shedding Coverage
The coated fabric helps rain bead away from covered areas during everyday walks, reducing the amount of towel drying needed after a quick trip outside.
Reflective Accents
Reflective details catch light from headlights, porch lights, and streetlights so your dog has an added visibility cue in gloomy or low-light conditions.
Hood With Transparent Visor
The hood helps cover the head area while the transparent visor keeps the design less visually closed-in. Some dogs may need short practice sessions before longer walks.
Leash Portal for Daily Gear
The built-in opening lets you connect a leash to a collar or compatible harness underneath, so the raincoat can work with your normal walk setup.
Playful Pattern Options
Choose from duck, bee, frog, shark, and other cheerful patterns when you want rain gear that feels fun instead of purely functional.
Fit Comes First
Before ordering, measure neck, chest, and back length. Chest and back length should guide the size choice first, while weight is a useful secondary reference. A raincoat that is too tight can restrict movement; one that is too loose can shift, gap, or let more rain in at the edges.
Rain Reality: Covered fur can stay drier, but paws, lower belly edges, tail area, and uncovered fur may still need a towel after wet walks.
Usage Scenario
Usage Scenario
Rainy Walk Scenarios
Quick Potty Break
Fasten the adjustable closure, connect the leash through the portal, and head out for the short wet-weather trip your dog still needs.
Gloomy Evening Walk
Use the reflective accents as an added visibility cue when streetlights and passing headlights are part of the route.
Apartment Elevator Routine
The lightweight layer is useful when you need to dress quickly, get downstairs, and limit how much rain comes back indoors.
Hood Practice at Home
Let your dog sniff the coat, wear it briefly indoors, and build up slowly before relying on the hood for a longer rainy walk.
Post-Walk Reset
Wipe exposed paws and belly edges, hang the raincoat to dry, and store it ready for the next cloudy forecast.
