Our 7.5-pound solid-black domestic shorthair usually leaves thick fleece beds after a few minutes, so I tried the Blue Chillbuddy Oasis Cooling Pet Bed in the XXS size. At 17.7 by 13.8 inches (45 by 35 cm), it fits beside my home-office bookcase without taking over the walkway.
There is no filling, gel pack, cord, or setup. I put it on the dark wood floor and let her investigate it. The pale icy-blue 3D mesh feels light and breathable, with softly rounded corners and a cushioned raised edge where she can tuck her chin. It feels more like a summer bed than a plush cushion.
