My gray tabby got curious about this right away and quickly learned to paw at the orange pieces for her kibble. It makes dinner feel more like play, and the clear top makes it easy to see when it needs a refill.

Honestly, I was worried my pug wouldn't figure it out because... well, he's not the brightest bulb. But the food motivation is strong! Took him about two days to get the "press" part down, but now he loves stomping on the little pedal. It's hilarious to watch. Holds a decent amount of kibble too, enough for his dinner.

Bought this for my lab who eats way too fast. It definitely slowed him down, which is great. The only annoying thing is it slides around on the wood floor when he gets too excited with the pedal. I had to put a yoga mat under it. Otherwise, solid toy.

got the duck one. super cute. my cat was confused at first just staring at the treats inside lol. i had to show her like 5 times but once she got a treat she went crazy on it. keeps her busy while i cook dinner.
My dog is scared of it. The clicking sound when the feeder releases the treat terrifies her. She barked at it for an hour and now refuses to go in the same room as the duck. Maybe good for brave dogs, but not for my nervous nelly. Waste of money for us.

Cute concept but my Rottweiler destroyed the pedal in two days. He got frustrated he couldn't get the food fast enough and just bit the lever off. Probably great for smaller dogs or cats who are gentle, but skip if you have a land shark.
My tabby is into everything so I knew she'd like this. She sits there and bats at it until the kibble falls out. It's funny because sometimes she looks at me like 'hey, refill this'.
My cat Sheila is... well, she's fat. And lazy. I needed something to get her moving. I put her dry food in the dome and she stared at it for like an hour. I had to press it a few times to show her. Now she gets it! It's funny watching her swat the pedal. She eats way slower now too which is great because she used to choke sometimes from eating too fast.

Das Plastik wirkt stabil. Mein Hund hat es sofort verstanden. Es ist gut für die Verdauung, weil er nicht mehr schlingt. Einfach zu reinigen ist es auch, man kann den Deckel leicht abnehmen. Kann ich empfehlen für mittelgroße Hunde.

Für kleine Hunde oder Katzen vielleicht okay, aber nicht für große Hunde mit Kraft.

Mixed feelings here. The concept is awesome and my lab mix figured it out fast. But... it slides all over my wood floors. Buddy gets excited and basically plays hockey with it across the kitchen while trying to press the lever. I have to put it on a rug or hold it with my foot. If it had better rubber feet on the bottom it would be perfect.

I read somewhere that 15 mins of sniffing/brain work is like a 1 hour walk. I use this on days when it's raining and I can't walk the dog long. He seems pretty tired out after clearing the hopper.
