Our 5-pound black-and-tan Yorkshire Terrier likes curling up near the hallway shoe cabinet when we get ready to leave, so I placed the Gray / XS Plush Haven Bed on the clean wood floor beside the bench. At 15.7 by 11.8 inches (40 by 30 cm), it gives her a defined little nest without taking up the whole narrow walkway. The bed has a soft gray nubby-plush surface, a tufted cushioned center, a fuller raised border around the outside, and a thin dark base underneath. The center dips slightly between the padded sections, while the edge gives her a place to tuck her chin and keep her front paws inside the bed. The XS size is best for curling; she does not have room to stretch fully from nose to tail across the surface. I left the bed in the same spot for several days and put a familiar fleece square in the middle for the first introduction. She sniffed the edge, stepped in with both front paws, and then circled once before settling into a tight curl. Now she uses it during shoe changes and sometimes stays there after we come back from a walk. On our clean wood floor it did not shift during these short entries and turns, but I still keep the base dry and check the placement before she climbs in. The gray plush hides everyday dust better than a pale bed, although short black hairs collect in the raised edge and the tufted center. I remove loose hair often, take off the washable cover for a deeper refresh, and let everything dry fully before putting the bed back. The compact size makes it easy to move, but it would be too snug for a dog that sleeps stretched out or a pet much heavier than our Yorkie. I gave it five stars for the soft texture, chin-resting border, compact 40 by 30 cm footprint, and easy hallway placement. It has become her small waiting spot, but the XS size requires a curled sleeping position, and the plush texture needs regular hair removal to keep the bed fresh.

The cover is removable for washing, and I let it dry fully before putting it back on. Gray hides dust fairly well but orange fur collects along the tuft lines. It has become a cozy, dedicated spot for her under-desk naps, as long as I remember that the XS is meant for curling up, not sprawling.

Bought this for my 4 year old beagle who has really bad separation anxiety. First couple nights he was hesitant but now he sleeps in it no problem. The orthopedic support is def noticeable - he gets up easier in the mornings now. Fits perfectly in my living room and the gray color matches my furniture. My 12-year-old Lab, Buster, has pretty bad arthritis in his hips. It usually takes him a while to get moving in the mornings, lots of stiffness. I bought this hoping it would help a little, but the difference is actually crazy. The foam is thick and solid, not that cheap egg crate stuff you usually see. He climbed in the first night and slept straight through without his usual pacing. Seeing him wake up and stand up easier makes it worth every penny. Seriously, if you have a senior dog, just get it.

Great bed, quality materials. The fabric feels durable and the non-slip bottom actually works on my hardwood floors. My spaniel loves resting his head on the rim. I'm knocking off a star though because it was vacuum sealed so tight it took nearly two days to fully puff up to the right shape. It looked a bit flat at first. But once it expanded, it’s brilliant. Just be patient with it.

The materials are nice and it feels soft, but the sizing is misleading. I got the Large for my Kelpie mix and he barely fits. He kinda hangs off the edge when he stretches out. Definitely size up if you are unsure. It's a shame because the bed itself is good quality, just too small for what I expected based on the photos. Keeping it for the cat I suppose.

Total win. My rescue mix gets terrified during thunderstorms, shakes like a leaf. We had a bad storm last Tuesday and she went straight to this bed and curled up against the back rim. The foam is actually thick, not that cheap egg crate stuff you see at big box stores. It feels like a real mattress. I took a star off cause the zipper got stuck the first time I tried to take the cover off to wash it. I fixed it eventually but it was annoying. Dog likes it though.

Got the medium for my beagle. The quality is decent, soft cover and all that. But the sleeping area is a bit small cause the rims take up a lot of space. He fits if he curls up tight but he likes to stretch out, so he ends up hanging off the edge. If you're on the fence about size, definitely size up. It's okay, just wish the dimensions were clearer regarding the actual flat sleeping part.

Mon bouledogue français l'adore, il pose tout le temps sa tête sur le rebord. Le tissu est très doux et ça se voit que c'est de la qualité. Okay, so I have two dogs, a lab mix and a tiny terrier. I bought one of these, thinking it would be mainly for the lab, since he's older. Nope.
