FAQ for ProCare Canine Leg Brace for Mobility & Recovery

Find quick answers to common product questions.

Can this dog leg brace help with ACL or CCL concerns?
It can provide external support during supervised mobility routines, but ACL/CCL injuries require veterinary diagnosis and care. It should not be used as a replacement for surgery, rehab, or a treatment plan.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog carefully and compare the measurements with the size guide. If your dog is between sizes or has swelling, ask your veterinarian or rehab professional before choosing.
Can my dog wear it all day?
No. Start with short supervised sessions and remove it for rest unless your veterinarian gives different instructions. Check the skin after each use.
Will it prevent reinjury?
No brace can guarantee reinjury prevention. This product is intended to add support and stability during supervised use, not to prevent all injuries.
Can it be used for senior dogs?
It may support senior dogs during careful movement if the fit is correct and your veterinarian agrees. Sudden lameness, pain, or mobility changes should be evaluated first.
How should I care for it?
Keep the brace clean and dry between uses. Remove dirt after walks and let it dry fully before the next session. Do not use it over wounds or irritated skin.
How tight should the straps be?
The straps should be snug enough to keep the brace in place, but not so tight that they leave deep marks, restrict movement, or cause rubbing. Recheck fit after a few minutes of slow walking.
