barely makes a dent in my german shepherds nails. motor stops if you press too hard. maybe good for a cat or tiny dog but useless for us. waste of time.
This does the job but if your dog has thick black nails like mine, you gotta be patient. It takes a while to grind them down compared to just clipping them off. But hey, at least I don't have to worry about hitting the quick and making him bleed. Battery lasts a long time too.
