On our hallway route, the lightweight ring gives my low-vision dog earlier contact with furniture edges during supervised practice.
Der kurze Weg zum Wassernapf war für unsere kleine cremefarbene Möpsin mit eingeschränkter Sicht zuletzt voller kleiner Stopps, deshalb habe ich den XXS-Ring zunächst nur wenige Minuten im Esszimmer eingesetzt. Nach dem langsamen Anpassen von Brustgurt und Ring saß der blaue Bügel vor ihrer Schnauze, und auf dem vertrauten Weg berührte er die abgerundete Kante des Sideboards, bevor sie dagegenlief. Das gab uns einen kurzen Moment zum Anhalten, ohne den Weg für sie zu übernehmen, und die gelben Gurte sowie die orangefarbenen Mesh-Abschnitte lassen sich gut kontrollieren. Enge Stuhlwenden bleiben mit dem breiten Ring unpraktisch, deshalb halte ich die Strecke frei, bleibe dabei und prüfe die Gurte nach jeder Runde. So passt er gut in unsere ruhige Indoor-Routine.
Für kurze Flurwege ist der leichte Ring ein guter Start: Er berührt Möbelkanten früh und gibt damit einen kleinen räumlichen Hinweis. Ich habe ihn langsam angepasst und anfangs nur unter Aufsicht genutzt; enge Wendungen brauchen etwas Geduld.

The light setup leaves her front legs free, and the ring stays visibly ahead of her face. The ring still needs a clear route: a narrow chair gap made her hesitate, so I block tight spaces and stay nearby, especially in unfamiliar rooms. It is an early contact point, not a guarantee that every bump disappears. After practice I wipe it clean, inspect regularly for rubbing or damage, and check the ring shape. For a cat learning familiar indoor routes, the adjustable fit and gentle bumper have become a useful part of our routine.

I wanted to love this but my dog is just too anxious. The second I strapped it on him, he froze like a statue. Would not take a single step. We tried treats, coaxing, everything. He just hates having the bar over his head. The quality seems fine, it's just not for every dog. Unfortunate waste of money for us.

Got this for my terrier mix who suddenly went blind. The idea is good, and it feels like a quality product. Lightweight, sure. But my dog just hated wearing it. He kept trying to shake it off, wouldn't move with it on. Tried for a week, different adjustments, but no luck. It might be great for other dogs, just not mine. Shame, really.
This is a wonderful product for blind pets. My cat is much more confident now.
