Reflective Dog Raincoat FAQ: Fit, Coverage & Walk Care

Safe & Dry Reflective Dog Raincoat FAQs

What sizes are currently available?
The current product variants run from S through 9XL. Measure back length, chest girth, and neck girth before ordering; do not choose by breed name or weight alone. After measuring your dog's chest, neck, and back, use the Safe & Dry raincoat size guide to compare the listed fit ranges before choosing.
What if my dog is between sizes?
Compare chest girth first, then back length and neck girth. Choose the size that gives enough room for walking, sitting, and breathing without leaving loose gaps that let the coat shift.
Will this keep every part of my dog dry?
The polyester rain layer helps reduce rain and splash on the covered back and side areas. Paws, tail, head, lower belly, and fit gaps may still need a towel after the walk.
Do reflective areas make night walks safe on their own?
No. Reflective details help the coat stand out when light hits them, but they do not replace a leash, route awareness, traffic caution, or any lights you normally use.
How should the neck and belly closures fit?
Fasten them close enough to keep the coat aligned, with room for normal breathing and movement. Try the coat indoors and check that your dog can turn, sit, walk, and use the bathroom comfortably.
How do I care for it after a muddy walk?
Wipe away mud, clear hair from hook-and-loop areas, and hang the coat open until it is fully dry. Storing it damp can trap odor and make the next setup less comfortable.
