After our chilly walk, my small red Border Terrier curled into the L cave by the mudroom door.
The L cave fits beside my reading chair, and my Shih Tzu curls inside with her nose at the arch.
Otis is my black-and-silver Miniature Schnauzer, and he likes burrowing under the couch throw when the house gets noisy. I placed the blue Cozy Cave in our bedroom corner with the arched entrance facing the room. It uses some floor space, but Otis can walk in, turn, and settle without blocking the doorway. I left his familiar fleece beside the entrance and let him investigate instead of coaxing him inside. The blue-and-white gingham shell has rounded padded ribs that hold the low dome shape. The white fleece around the arch and cream lining make it softer and warmer than his open cushion, while the padded front lip gives him a place to rest his chin. He sniffed it for a couple of evenings, then started going in after dinner with his face visible through the opening. He can watch us and back out freely. I shake loose hair from the fleece edge, check the interior for dampness, and let the cave air fully before he uses it again. I keep the open cushion nearby on warm days because the enclosed style is for cozy naps. For a dog who prefers covered spaces, this has become his dedicated little retreat.

Our 11-pound black-and-white tuxedo American Shorthair likes curling under the desk when the house gets busy, so I set up the Blue / L Cozy Cave Pet Bed in a quiet corner of the home office. At 25.6 by 15.8 by 11 inches (65 by 40 by 28 cm), it gives her room to turn around without making the opening feel cramped. The cave has a blue-and-white gingham outer shell, a rounded dome with padded rib sections, an arched front opening, and a white fleece-lined interior. The front lip is softly padded, and the base sits low enough for her to step in without climbing. I placed the opening toward the room, added a familiar blanket beside it, and left a separate open cushion nearby so she could choose between covered and uncovered rest. She inspected the entrance for most of the first evening and only put her front paws inside. On the second night she walked in after following me into the office, turned around once, and curled up with her face near the opening. The L interior gives her enough space to change direction, but she still feels tucked in rather than exposed. The dome blocks some desk-side foot traffic while leaving her a clear view out. The white fleece lining shows loose black hair quickly, so I shake the bed out between uses and keep the interior dry. I refresh the bedding scent after washing and avoid putting it directly beside the heater. The covered shape is warm and cozy, but it can feel too enclosed in a warm room, so I keep the open cushion available and make sure she can leave freely. I gave it five stars for the roomy 65 by 40 cm footprint, soft fleece-lined cave, padded entrance, and shape-retaining dome. It has become a dedicated retreat for our cat, although the L size takes more floor space than a simple mat, and cautious pets may need several days before they choose to go fully inside.

This is nothing like it’s represented in the picture. It came in terrible packaging which when you use scissors to open it, cut the bed which is a floppy piece of fabric. I’m highly disappointed.

Okay so I opened the box and my cat Mochi jumped in before I even put it on the floor lol. She loves the cave feeling. It looks nice in my living room too, not ugly like some other pet beds. The gingham pattern is cute. Definitely get the medium if your cat is chubby like mine.
Got this for my terrier mix. The fabric is properly nice, has that linen feel rather than the cheap shiny polyester you usually get. He loves burrowing in it. Only gave 4 stars because if he jumps on top of it the roof collapses a bit and I have to pop it back up. But as a warm hidey-hole, it's brill.

Looked bigger in the photos. I measured my dog but I guess the fluffy inside takes up a lot of space. My terrier fits but he looks kinda squished. He uses it as a mat instead of going inside. Quality is good though, just watch the sizing.
