By the time the backyard sprinkler shuts off, our 40-pound black-and-white English Springer Spaniel is looking for the coolest patch of floor, so I put this in the shade on our covered side porch. The Large bed measures 39.4 inches across, giving him room to turn and stretch with a little blue border still showing around him. I inflated the outer rim with the included pump, added cool tap water gradually, smoothed the center, and checked the cap before he stepped on. He hesitated at the movement for a minute, then started using it for short rest breaks instead of settling on the warm concrete, and the aquatic print is easy to spot by the door. I wipe it after use, drain it, let it dry fully, and store it flat, while fresh drinking water, shade, and supervision stay part of the routine.
After warm-weather play, my 32-pound brindle Boxer mix stretches out on the Large blue water bed on our shaded porch; filling takes some setup, but it wipes clean and drains easily.

Picked up the upgraded version of this paw cool oasis bed for my cat, and I’m honestly impressed. They're pretty rough with their claws and loves to knead, but this bed has held up perfectly. no snags or tears at all. It’s super sturdy, and they nap on it every afternoon now. Filled it with cool water, and the dog has barely left it since the warm spell.
Our beagle overheats fast so he had been sleeping on the kitchen tile through july. It took him two days to trust the wobble, now he stretches out flat on it after walks. Topping the water up every few days is mildly annoying but fine.
