It works pretty well. My frenchie usually overheats super fast after walks, even in "cooler" weather. He went straight to it and sprawled out. Taking off one star because I wish it came in a darker color options, the light blue shows paw prints kinda fast if you don't wipe it down every day. But functionality wise, it does the job.

I got this for my pug, Penelope, who overheats easily. It definitely feels cooler than her regular bed, and she does use it. My dog loves going everywhere with me, but our car can get pretty warm even with AC. This bed is so light, I just pop it in the back for her. She's much more relaxed now. Also great when we're on the patio, she just chills. And spills? Just a quick wipe and it's clean. Couldn't ask for more.
